Nightlife, culture, art, going out, music, exploring your own identity and connecting with people have always been the most important values of ID&T.
Whilst introducing a new way of going out, AMAZE as the new entity of ID&T holds a deep responsibility to the communities we work with. From our amazing team to the visitors from around the world who step into our audiovisual, multisensory world in Amsterdam. At AMAZE, we believe in honesty, creative freedom and staying true to what drives us. These aren’t just words. They are the foundation of everything we do. From the stories we tell to the experiences we build and the space we host.
In 2022, AMAZE became part of Superstruct Entertainment under the clear and agreed condition that our creative and ethical autonomy would remain intact. And that is how we still operate. Independently, consciously and guided by our values. In October 2024, the parent company of Superstruct was acquired by investment firm KKR. This acquisition happened without our prior knowledge or input. Since then, several credible reports have surfaced about KKR’s global investments. Unfortunately, we have unintentionally become entangled in something that contradicts our core beliefs. We recognize the ruling by the International Court of Justice, which found that Israel is plausibly committing genocide in Gaza and upholds systems of apartheid and occupation against the Palestinian people. These raise serious ethical concerns and directly clash with the values we live by. AMAZE does not align with unethical investments. While we have no control over decisions made at the highest levels of ownership, we are fully in control of who we are and what we stand for. Ownership will never define our identity. Our values do.
We are currently re-evaluating our partnerships and operations to ensure they align even more closely with our principles of creativity, inclusivity and social responsibility. Transparency is part of who we are and we believe that real change can and should start from within. We support everyone who dares to question, who connects and who makes space for a better future.
